Good Morning,

Remember when I said yesterday that we had received a lot of rain the day and night before, well we got more yesterday and it looks like more is headed our way tomorrow and Thursday. Then we turn cold for the weekend.  At least we haven’t been receiving the freezing rain like they have out west of us. You see, things could always be worse.

Well, yesterday was another long day. We went to Berea to the Radiologist at 10 and we didn’t get home until after 4. She wanted me to get a bone scan to get a better view of what is going on and she wanted it pronto. So it was set up and done at the Berea hospital almost before we knew what was going on. The only bad part was that I had to wait three hours after they injected me before they could do the scan. Now, we had to wait over an hour for the injection to come from Lexington, so we went to Wal-Mart. Then we had to wait the three hours after the injection before the scan. Ever try to find something to do in Berea for three hours? Anyway, I will be heading back to Lexington in a couple of hours to see my Oncologist and to begin chemo. Yes, the decision was pretty much made yesterday to go ahead with the chemo. In fact, it will be the same chemo that Diana Tingle has been taking. The real problem for me yesterday was that my left hip was hurting me. It started very early Monday morning, I’m talking around 3 a.m., and it wasn’t until about 6 last night before we could get the pain to go away. This morning I am feeling pretty well at the moment, but I am wondering how I will feel following the chemo this afternoon? Again, thanks for your continuing prayers!!!!

Again, this is going to be a short mailing as I really need to get a couple of things done before Pat come back to pick me up at 9.  So, hopefully I will feel like talking with you tomorrow.

Have a Great Day in the Lord,
                   Rod
